Because DARA is a recovery coaching platform, some of the information you provide or generate through your use of the app constitutes health-related data. This includes:
- Substance use history and recovery-related intake responses
- Mood tracking logs and mental wellness check-ins
- Session content and notes shared between you and your coach
- Progress and milestone information related to your recovery journey
This data is collected solely to provide and improve your recovery coaching experience. It is never sold, rented, or used for advertising purposes.

1.4 Session Recordings
Voice or video sessions may be recorded for safety and quality monitoring purposes. You will be informed before any session is recorded. Recordings are automatically deleted within 60–90 days unless retention is required for legal or safety reasons.

With Your Assigned Coach
Your evaluation results, mood logs, health-related data, and relevant activity information are shared with your assigned coach to support your recovery journey.

- Stripe (payment processing)
- Hosting and cloud infrastructure providers
All service providers are contractually required to protect your information and may not use it for any purpose beyond the services they provide to us.

We use encryption, secure servers, and industry-standard best practices to protect your information. Health-related data is handled with the highest level of care and stored with additional security controls.
